Lynda Cox

After pitching what was probably the umpteenth historical romance novel across the room and announcing she could write as well and then subsequently challenged by her husband to put her money where her mouth was, Lynda Cox began writing. She writes steamy western historical romance, set in what was then the Wyoming Territory and those books have become Amazon best-sellers, two have been RONE nominated, and her books have won several awards, including the Laramie Award for best first novel. A total hopeless romantic, Lynda firmly believes in the redemptive power of love, in second chances, and in happily ever after. At least in the books she writes she can promise a happy ending.
Depending on which week of the month it is, Lynda can be found either at her home in Indiana or the little homestead in the backwoods of Tennessee. She shares her home in Indiana with the love of her life, her husband and they both joke they are staying with the Indiana house because of the horse. The horse is 34 years old and neither of them want to subject him to the rigors of a seven hour trailer haul to Tennessee. She also shares both homes with her champion collies, three house cats, two semi-feral outside cats, and several chickens. The collies and one of the house cats travels with her every time she journeys to the Tennessee homestead and back to the land of the Hoosiers. (Don't ask her what a Hoosier is, because she doesn't have a clue.)

Lynda doesn't have a web page--or at least one that's maintained. She prefers to direct people to her professional persona page on Facebook, and that can be found here:
She also has a Twitter handle and she does follow back. Her handle is @lyndacox and lastly, she can be reached at her e-mail of lynda(dot)cox@aol(dot)com

He's everything she fears…
Wounded gunfighter Colt Evans stumbles onto a remote homestead never expecting to find compassion. But beautiful Amelia McCollister is like no other woman. Suddenly, his dream of settling down with a wife and home is within reach—but only if his past never comes gunning for him.

She's everything he dreams of…
Amelia had to grow up fast after outlaws murdered her parents, leaving her to raise her siblings alone. With a young brother who idolizes shootists, she dreads having a notorious gunman in her home. But as Colt slowly recovers, he reveals a caring nature under his tough exterior that Amelia can't resist.

Just when Colt starts to believe he can leave the gunfighter life behind, his past returns, bringing danger to them all. Can a shootist ever hang up his hardware? Or will their dreams disappear in the smoke of a desperado's gun?

Allison Webster dreams of having an adventure like the characters in the books she loves. But there is no romance in being pursued by a man who wants her dead for educating the children of former slaves. Unlike the heroines she reads about she doesn't have a trusty companion to rescue her...until she literally runs into A.J. Adams, a former Confederate cavalry officer. Now, she just has to convince A.J. he really is the honorable man and hero depicted in the dime novel she is reading.

Branded a "traitor" for more than ten years, scarred by harsh treatment in an inhumane prisoner of war camp, A.J. Adams wants revenge. Allison Webster's arrival into his life provides the bait to destroy the men who murdered his wife and daughters and kidnapped his little brother. The men pursuing Allison are the very same men he has sworn to kill. Falling in love and admitting he might actually be a hero means surrendering his need for vengeance. Surrender is not part of A.J.'s battle strategy.

Jessica Depre's life is in tatters. She’s on the run with a bounty on her head, offered by her abusive husband Robert, who needs to silence her about his criminal escapades and the part he forced her to play in them. When bounty hunter Drake Adams walks into the boarding house where she works, Jessica slips away into the night. Her only hope of surviving and protecting those she loves from her husband’s rage is to vanish forever.

Unable to accept that the only woman he ever loved left him standing at the altar and married another man, Drake Adams has given up a good law practice in the Wyoming Territory. If he’s not hunting down bounties, he’s pursuing the bottom of a bottle of bourbon. When Drake learns his former fiancĂ©e, Jessica Majors-Depre, has a price on her head, he decides he will collect that bounty.

Can the bounty hunter and the bank robber ignite a future from the ashes of their past when they are trapped by a blizzard in a mountain shack or will playing with fire burn them both?
