I'm Paty Jager a wife, mother, grandmother, and award winning author. I've loved to read since looking over my older brother's shoulder when he was learning. Growing up, I had a book in my hand unless I was riding my horse, Junebug. I even vacuumed and dusted on Saturdays while reading. Not sure how good of a job I did, but my mom worked six days a week and cleaning the living room was my Saturday chore. But I didn't let it interfere with reading my most recent library borrow. Most school days you could find me reading during lunch and recess.
After my children were in high school, I started pursuing writing as a career. It's taken me nearly fourteen years from the time I became adamant I would become published to now having fourteen small publisher and self published books available for readers.
I keep the central theme of western or Native American in all my books whether they are historical, contemporary, paranormal, action adventure, or mystery.
Saunter on over to my website: www.patyjager.net to read excerpts from my books and learn even more about me. I also have a blog: www.patyjager.blogspot.com where I talk about westerns, mysteries and life on a farm. I'd love to have you stop in and chew the fat. You can also find my free read short story Heart of Gold on both my blog and website.
