This year, it seems as though thoughts of spring have been crowded out by worries and fears. And in our little corner of the world, it's been cold. We've even had a freak snow storm or two in the past weeks, which is unusual.
But today, I wanted to think about spring. About the beauty it brings and the joy. The renewal and the hope.
And the love.
As someone who writes sweet romances for a living, I spend a lot of time thinking about love, about what makes two people fall in love.
It makes me smile to think about romances budding right along with the flowers and trees this time of year.
It makes me wonder how many romances blossomed back in the old days when those cowboys rode into town after spending the winter somewhat isolated.
I think Mark Twain best explained the feeling that comes over us in the spring. We may not be able to explain it, but it's there. Just like the daffodils and the greening trees.
If you enjoy reading about modern-day cowboys, I have two special spring-themed sweet romances available in one fun book.
Spring Into Romance features The Cowboy's Spring Romance and Taste of Tara.
Love and springtime blossom in two sweet romances. . .
The Cowboy's Spring Romance
Trent Thompson has carried a torch for the new schoolteacher since she moved to Grass Valley more than three years ago. Instead of asking her out, he’s dated every single female for miles around, giving her the impression he’s not interested in her at all.
Will Trent be able to maintain the pretense when he has to babysit his niece, who happens to be in Lindsay’s class? Romance is in the air as spring fever hits the Triple T Ranch!
Taste of Tara
Pastry chef Tara Tarleton has one month to live out her dreams on a plantation in the South. Reality falls far short of her expectations until a chance encounter with a hunky horse wrangler changes her mind.
Falling in love never tasted so sweet… Taste of Tara is a wholesome, lively read that captures the tender romance of following your dreams, no matter where they may lead.
