To Hunter she was a girl who had been traumatized while witnessing her parents as they were murdered.. He vowed to keep her safe from that day forward. She became family during that dark time in both of their lives.
Close to a year had gone by from when they had hit the trail together dodging the law because Hunter was a wanted man for a crime he didn’t commit, when Mischief was shot in a crossfire. Hunter was furious and realized then and there that she’d be better off with a good family in town. He left her in Mount Vernon Washington.
Ten year’s later their paths cross again and their relationship blossom’s into something entirely different.
