It's your turn

Most of my posts consist of me telling things.
Today, I want to hear from you.

If you could have dinner with any fictional character,
who would it be and why?

And...

If you could live in any period of history,
when would it be and why?

Great questions, Melissa! I've always said I was born in the wrong generation. If I could live in any era, I have 2 I would chose; the wild west or somewhere between the 1920's - 1950's. In the wild west, I'd love to live on a sprawling ranch with a handsome cowboy and wear those long skirts, or in a simple house in town that sported a white picket fence. As for the 20's - 50's, I have a love for women's clothes and shoes, the music, the simplicity of home life, and in general, how men were men and women were women.
As for dinner with a fictional character, there are so many. Maybe Scarlett from Gone With The Wind, or my very own outlaw, Roth (he has grit and humor.)

Inquiring minds want to know your choices....

Yes, fun questions. Julie, do you think most historical authors feel like that, I sure do too. Since I've done quite a bit of Mountain Man reenacting I guess I'll pass on the Old West, and I love the Medieval time period, but that sounds like a really hard existence, why not the Roaring 20's! And lunch with Gandolf from the trilogy, what stories he could tell.

Me, too. Always felt I was born a century too late. I tend to write about the mid-1800s, but I'd probably want to live in the early 1900s, when things were a little more civilized. LOL

I'm not sure I'd want to live in any other century. Times were really hard back in the 1700s and 1800s. Even early 1900s.
However, as for characters....I'd like to speak to Levi Wolfe, my protagonist in the Mind's Eye trilogy. He's psychic, which I find fascinating. He's also gorgeous! Haha.
